PEF Crawfish Boil outgrows facility, relocates to high school gymnasium

The Petal Education Foundation is hosting the 13th annual “Laughter and Lagniappe” Crawfish Boil on Thursday, April 25, at the Petal High School Gym. Doors will open at 6 p.m.  

Come eat all the crawfish and fixins you care to eat for $25 per person. 

 The night will begin with browsing the live and silent auction items. Some exciting gifts include autographed pro football memorabilia, fishing excursions, electronics, home décor, artwork and much, much, more.  

The Cajun supper includes spicy crawfish with corn on the cob, red potatoes, other fixins’ and a variety of desserts. Chicken strips will be provided for folks who need a crawfish alternative. 

“We’re excited to have Robin’s Wharf of Petal preparing the crawfish this year,” said Leahne Lightsey, executive director of the PEF.

Bob Palmer will serve as Master of Ceremonies along with professional auctioneer, Don Monroe, who will lead the bidding for fabulous gifts and services to be auctioned to the highest bidder.
