Downtown Hattiesburg’s 2019 Fall Art Walk is set from 2-5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19. Vendor and artist applications are now being accepted for consideration.
Dozens of art vendors will line Front and Main streets in downtown Hattiesburg. Live music, various art activities and Halloween games will be offered throughout the event for the entire family to enjoy.
“Hattiesburg and the Pine Belt have many talented artists and craftsmen, and we want to see a variety of skills and artistry in this annual community event,” said Andrea Saffle, executive director of Downtown Hattiesburg Association. “Vendor and artist spots are limited and filling up fast, so applying soon is encouraged.”
Downtown businesses will participate with open doors and special promotions. A map of participating merchants and restaurants will be available at the Art Walk information booth, located at the intersection of Front and Main Streets.
Fall Art Walk is a juried event. Applications must include photos or samples of work, and all artists will be notified regarding their acceptance. Vendor types may include original works of art, live demonstrations, food, and music. Participation fee is $15, and vendors may not register on-site.
Vendor application and more details can be found on Downtown Hattiesburg Association’s Facebook page.
