Renovations continue at Hattiesburg Rowan

Alcohol sales at USM football games garners $100,000

In the summer of 2019, the University of Southern Mississippi decided to allow the sale of alcoholic beverages at football games and other sporting events.

To be clear: Only beer and wine are being served to people under the auspices of the USM banner, at the university’s games. Liquor is a different issue altogether.

Go for a walk!

Walking.  I've always been a walker.  Only thing is, these days, not enough of us walk anymore, we drive. 

In fact, we'll drive around the mall parking lot for minutes, looking for that "perfect" parking space, the one closest to Dillard's main entrance.  But back in days of old, people in Hattiesburg walked, a lot.  Especially me.
