The Oak Grove Warriors’ season came to an end Friday night and with the it the hope of a state championship title .
Nanih Waiya proved to be too big and too strong for Lumberton and the Warriors from Winston County ended the Panthers 2019 season Friday afternoon with a 28-13 win in the 2019 1A state title game.
It will only be a matter of months before construction begins on a new East Hardy Street bridge.







National Champions

Petal High School student Jaelin Imanni Montgomery placed fifth in the National Speech and Debate Tournament, which was held June 18-23.

More than 150,000 student members make up the National Speech and Debate Association (NSDA).


Marching On

Petal High School Marching band recently began the start of their band camp for their 2017 marching season.
