Interior designer Gwynn Guy has joined the staff of Anderson Designs in Hattiesburg.
Guy has more than 30 years of experience in residential and architectural design, having worked at Batte Furniture and Interiors in Jackson for 25 years before following her grandchildren to Frisco, Texas, where she worked with IBB Fine Furnishings.
Chris Lockwood, former Waste Pro divisional vice president in Southern Mississippi, has been promoted to regional vice president. Lockwood will manage the newly-formed Southern Mississippi region, which includes Waste Pro’s Hattiesburg, Gautier, Gulfport, Brookhaven, and Natchez operations.

Last week Speaker Philip Gunn assigned Rep. Kent McCarty (R-Hattiesburg) to various committees in the Mississippi House of Representatives.
Gunn appointed McCarty to serve on the House Education, Universities and Colleges, Conservation, Medicaid and Banking committees.
